Join a growing nation-wide financial services firm specializing in strategic consulting and capital formation services to alternative asset and long only fund managers.​  Step into a position of responsibility in a fast-paced environment, working with talented colleagues and led by partners with track records of success in capital raising, advisory experience and portfolio management.​


Firm’s proprietary, innovative process is transforming the way that the alternative asset industry raises and allocates capital, and firm is recruiting entrepreneurial and passionate team-mates to help realize this vision.​  Firm seeks talented and enthusiastic Associate- and Vice President-level candidates to join team of nine partners and 22 total colleagues.​


Firm offers candidates the opportunity to vest into firm’s revenue-sharing pool, combined with substantial performance incentives.​  Capital raising has a long sales cycle, and potential to deliver seven-figure level compensation as income streams are established over the next few years.​  First revenue-sharing disbursement is expected in early 2010.​



1)         About Firm:​


a)         Firm has growing base of 30 alternative asset and long only fund managers representing $3 billion of capital-raising capacity;


b)         Firm’s founder was former CEO or interim CEO of 11 operating companies, and has career track record of successful corporate turnarounds and capital formation;


c)         Current partners offer 100 combined years of strategic, operational and financial expertise, with senior leadership having $3 billion of capital raised and other value creating events prior to joining firm;


d)         Significant upside potential in future colleague compensation and revenue growth due to conservative nature of firm’s volume, pricing and payment assumptions; and,


e)         Firm is strategically positioned for the ongoing market consolidation.​



2)         Ideal Candidates Possess:


a)         5 to 10 years in an investment bank, private equity or hedge fund career track, or a demonstrated record of success as a financial advisor or in financial sales;


b)         Independence and self-motivation – ability to work on complex projects with minimal supervision; sets goals and reliably meets deadlines;


c)         Desire to master and realize the benefits of firm’s intense training – the willingness to check your ego at the door and be a team player;


d)         Adaptability, openness to change and an entrepreneurial mindset – a clear head in situations of uncertainty; and,


e)         Strong writing, communications and computer (MS Excel and Word) skills.​
