CORESTAFF Services seeks an advisor sales & client service coordinator for a well know company in the Seattle, WA area.  This great temporary opportunity has an open salary depending on experience with great benefits.

 

Responsibilities: 

The Mutual Funds Coordinator provides support to the Client Service & Sales team. Ensuring the team has the appropriate resources to effectively service clients and promote Funds is the primary focus of this position. This position requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to think quickly and communicate appropriately. A successful candidate must be able to manage a variety of routine and special projects at one time, and to work efficiently in a strict regulatory driven, deadline critical and fast-pace environment.

 

RELATIONSHIPS This position reports to the Client Service and Sales Coordinator Supervisor and will work closely with, and will be considered a resource to, the firm\'s mutual fund Client Service & Sales team. As a Coordinator, the individual will have frequent contact with staff at all levels, as well as with the distributors, advisors, custodians, consultants, prospects, clients and other individuals outside the firm.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare Client Service and Sales materials for meetings and conferences, including event shipping and receiving.  Schedule appointments and prepare for meetings.  Maintain Client Service and Sales calendars and e-mail. Handle general correspondence and mailings. Handle all phone inquiries, maintain record of calls, process requests and send out materials. Handle general correspondence. Monitor daily inflows and outflows from Advisors and be responsible for asset tracking.  Facilitate extended settlement, wire transfers, and account set-up for clients. Resolve any issues or errors. Maintain prospect and client files/records - both in physical and electronic formats.  Assist with client billings  Prepare sales reports.  Arrange travel and general travel itineraries as needed.  Prepare expense reimbursement requests and reports.  Conduct on-line research.  Track NSCC participation, contracts, current events.  Maintain integrity of regulatory, financial and confidential data and systems.  General office support as needed.

 

Skills: 

REQUIREMENTS:  Finance industry and/or banking industry and/or mutual fund experience.  Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  Strong attention to detail; ability to track multiple projects.  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.  Service oriented. Willing and pleasant demeanor.  Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.  Current Series 6 and 63 registrations preferred, but not required.  Strong spreadsheet skills, experience organizing and presenting financial information.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Client Database Management applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Onyx (or similar database).
