Do you have a passion for business and want to join the growing health care field?​  Join MedStaff Healthcare Solutions as a STAFFING COORDINATOR and be responsible for placing nurses on daily and contract assignments in the greater Seattle and Tacoma areas.​   We take pride in providing the highest caliber healthcare professional to our client’s facilities.​  You will visit our nurses and facilities weekly providing excellent customer service and assisting the facility in advanced planning of their needs.​  If you possess 1 plus years in a professional environment and flourish in a fast paced environment, apply today

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

   1. Provide first level support to both nurse and facility customers.​
   2. Operate with a sense of urgency when dealing with both HCP and facility
   3. Provide client needs and updates of needs to branch personnel while assisting facility in advanced planning of needs
   4. Work with client base to develop additional staffing areas within a facility that Medstaff is not currently staffing.​
   5. Schedule per diem shifts and fulfill block/​contract assignments
   6. Maintain staffing sheets with updated compliant HCP and contact information
   7. Motivate active nurse pool to work additional shifts.​ Persuade inactive nurse pool to reactivate status.​
   8. Effectively research and resolve staffing/​payroll problems in a timely manner.​
   9. Weekly facility and HCP visits required.​
  10. After hours on-call to include weeknight, holiday and weekend coverage as required
  11. Primarily responsible for maintaining currently staffed HCP files and MARS database to maintain 100%​ compliance with MedStaff and/​or individual facility requirements.​
  12. Assist with payroll and daily pay.​
  13. Remain aware of changes in hospital file requirements and communicate those changes to branch.​
  14. Answer incoming phone calls.​
  15. Other duties as assigned, with or without accommodation.​

Required skills and abilities

   1. 1 year sales experience preferred or equivalent healthcare experience
   2. Must have staffing/​scheduling knowledge base
   3. Excel in customer service skills
   4. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.​
   5. Must be capable of multitasking
   6. Must be willing to work with several individuals in a respectful and supportive manner and assist in other office roles as needed.​
   7. Work independently but also have a strong commitment to being a team player.​
   8. Must be able to respond to change in a positive and productive way.​
