CSG holds a contract with a natural gas utility to deliver energy efficiency services for new and existing homes in Washington. The program includes providing financial incentives for energy efficiency work on homes, maintaining a network of contractor allies, consumer education, and marketing. This position offers an opportunity to become a part of the green building industry.

Job Summary:
CSG seeks a full-time Administrative Assist for its Seattle, WA office, responsible for ensuring completion of a variety of administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant (1) is a key player in our team, assists in facilitating the flow of information between other staff members, contractors, builders, and trade allies; (2) must be willing to assist in establishing a positive environment; and (3) is a visionary and self-starter. The work environment is fast paced and is not a place for the timid. CSG offers career growth and new learning opportunities.


Quality control scheduling and paperwork.
Compiling and formatting of a monthly report to the client.
Processing co-op marketing payments.
Processing trade ally applications.
Managing paperwork for trade ally packets, builder outreach paperwork, and quality control paperwork, including follow-up with contractors.
Keeping up with insurance dates for trade allies via a spreadsheet.
Coordinate and manage paperwork flow for Quality Control inspections.
Assembling documentation and photos for building performance consultant.
Assisting in assembling materials for builder education.
Assembling handouts and photos as necessary for builder and contractor training.
Assistance with direct mail.
Organize and maintain inventory of program materials; ordering office supplies.
Ensuring all vendors and retailers have appropriate supplies and marketing materials.
Assistance in event planning for community and builder outreach.
Participation in community outreach events.
Function as main point of contact for the office.
Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
3-5 years demonstrated experience in office administration is required.
Professional background in marketing/advertising.
Possess strong organizational skills & time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Assist in establishing a positive team environment, including suggestions for improvement to processes and procedures.
Desire and ability to take charge and initiative.
Positive, professional attitude and adaptive to change.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with continually changing priorities.
Must be a team player.
Demonstrated experience in a support role.
Ability to work within a multi-layered team and to take initiative while maintaining attention to detail.
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience using Publisher and Visio a plus.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills required. Candidate must demonstrate an ability to initiate, coordinate and prioritize responsibilities and follow through on tasks and projects.
Excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Must have ability to interact with all levels of employees and all types of customers.
A positive attitude to accomplish goals and be accountable for results.
Ability to work independently.
Position requires work on occasional weekends for participation in community outreach events.

Compensation package: includes a salary commensurate with experience and paid holidays, 80% paid medical, 50% paid dental, paid life & AD&D and paid STD & LTD insurance coverage, plus employer matching retirement plan

Salary Range: $32,000 to 38,000. This is an hourly position.
